Nasce a Heverlee-Louvain nel 1843 e muore a Malines nel 1920. Nel 1869 è già registrato a Louvain come fotografo. Nel 1872 partecipa all'esposizione Universale di Lione. Nel 1884 realizza una serie di ritratti dei professori dell'Université Catholique de Louvain e utilizza come sfondo una veduta fotografica del municipio di Louvain. Vendeva anche macchine fotografiche e occasionalmente pubblicava cartoline illustrate. Dal 1890 circa in poi nello Studio P. Morren entrano i due figli, uno dei quali è Edouard (28.4.1867-1.3.1939)

° 12.6.1843; + 22.3.1920. A witness at the wedding of his predecessor Edouard Vander Elst (see that name) in Louvain on 10.2.1869, Morren was already recorded as a photographer there.

Photographs of floats in historical cavalcade, 1884. Collections of portraits of the professors at the "Université Catholique de Louvain" in 1884. He uses as backdrop for his CV portraits a photographic view of the Louvain town hall. From around 1890 onwards, "Studio P. Morren": his two sons took over management of it.

"Permanent portraits", i.e. carbon prints. He also sold cameras and occasionally published picture postcards. In 1912 he was reported as having two employees. Still listed here in 1920. By 1922 he had been succeeded by Ferdinand Bossut (° Malines, 23.7.1895) who dealt in general photographic supplies.
